A few scriptures that have been popping up lately for us... I think there is a theme here...
Hebrews 11:9-10 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
Nehemiah 2:20 The God of heaven is the one who will give us success, and we his servants are going to start building.
Luke 6:47,48 Jesus said, "I will show you what someone is like who comes to me, hears my words, and acts on them. That one is like a man building a house, who dug deeply and laid the foundation on rock."
